rsvp card wording help—how can we ask how many children/infants are coming?

Bob, on February 3, 2018 at 2:17 PM Posted in Planning 0 5
Hello!
Children are invited to our wedding. As we are planning food, alcohol, and tables and chairs, it will be important for us to know how many guests are kids (they’ll need food and a seat but not alcohol) vs adults. So far, I’ve heard of one family of 5 where the mom and infant hope to come (save the dates are already out) and another family of 5 where just the parents are coming. Even though there are 2 guests from each family, they have a different impact on numbers. Is there a good way to set up an RSVP card so guests can indicate number of adult guests vs kid guests? Note—food will be provided by multiple food trucks, so we don’t space dedicated to food requests. Thanks!
Molly

How I'm planing on formating it is having two like 'bubbles' they can shade in, one saying 'we'll be there!' And the other 'unfortunately we can't come' not that exact working but you get my drift. And then until that have two lines where they can write on how many adults are coming and right below that how many children. Or you could do something like '_ adults and _ children are in my group' and they'll fill it in. People understand this in information you need to know. Smiley smile

We did a "_ #seats reserved in your honor" and a "name of those attending " line. So 4 of the 5 people are attending from the family, the hope is they'll write who will be there and we can figure it out from there. However, this only works if you know the ages of your guests' children.

We are having a buffet but with vegan/gluten free option and a children's option. We formatted a section that allows a check for number of guests for each food option.
