No. A lot of people will wait until the last minute to stick them in the mail. Give them until a couple of days after the deadline. Never hound people for their RSVP's until after the deadline.

ITA with Wendy, no need to say anything until after the deadline has passed.

I would probably wait about 5-7 days after the deadline, if they put it in the mail on the seventh you might not get it till the 11th-12th depending on where they live.

I actually started making phone calls 2 days after the deadline. I have no patience for being late when alot was riding on my head count. I then gave them another 3 days to respond. After that I made the decision for them which was no. I said something like "Since our RSVP deadline for the wedding has passed and I have not heard from you can I include you in the festivities that day?" After 3 more days of not hearing from them my response was "I'm sorry that you are not going to be able to join in our wedding celebration" .... you have to be firm when it comes to this. The last thing you need the weeks leading up to your wedding is people jerking you around. Good luck!
