Mine is rose gold because it looks better with my skin tone. I love gold but the yellow gold looks weird on me and I've never been a fan of silver. I honestly don't think you can really tell a difference with mine unless you're staring at it for a while.

I really wanted rose gold until I saw them in person. The white gold prongs really blend better with the diamond and make it look bigger! I think if I did rose gold I'd do that for the band and then white gold prongs

Rose gold compliments my skin tone soooo well. My skin tone isn't going to change anytime soon; so I'm not worried about sticking with trends.

Guys perspective, and I know you said engagement rings, but my wedding band is rose gold and I'm a huge fan. I've liked rose gold for years. Looks great on my albino pasty skin.

Terrible pic, but it matches the rose gold on my watch bezel.

I think they're really pretty. I don't think that tone looks great on me, but I still admire it on others!

I love rose gold and most of my jewelry has rose gold in it. I was set on wanting an entirely rose gold engagement ring but the jeweler showed us the same diamond in 2 different bands and the all rose gold one actually made the diamond look less sparkling and dazzling for some reason. A white gold band for the diamond to dig on seemed to make the same diamond stand out more and not dull it down. So FH got me a good compromise, one that still had a rose gold aspect but sat on white gold. Smiley smile

I love my rose gold ring! It's a true alloy so you don't get the obvious wear that you see with white gold or platinum. I also love the way rose gold matches my skin tone which is a huge reason why so many are turned off by it.

My engagement ring is rose gold and I love it! It is not something I would have normally picked out for myself as I usually wear silver rings, but now I can't imagine wearing anything else.

I think rose gold is beautiful and so is your ring. It doesn't matter if it's trendy now. I think for most people, they like it because it matches their skin tone better. And if that's the case, it doesn't matter whether it's "in style" or not. It will be a timeless piece and will look great on you.

My FH had mine custom made and I absolutely love it. Ten years from now I will still love it because I know that he put a lot of thought into having it made just for me Smiley smile.

Found this ring on Pinterest, tried on a bunch but nothing was as great... Fiancé bought the exact one and I love it! Nothing to do with a trend... I just don't like yellow or white gold

I love rose gold jewelry but it's trendy right now, so I wouldn't choose it for an engagement or wedding ring.

Mine is rose gold - and after trying on white, yellow and rose - it just looked so much better on my skin tone (super pale).

I also love it because DH is Russian, and jewelry from Russia is a more rose/pink color. His wedding band is rose and white gold, and his band that was his grandmother's is gold but looks rose gold.

Rose gold will always make me think of Russian gold - so trendy or not, it's a special little connection for me.

I love my rose gold - my FH has always bought me rose gold items for some reason unknown to be, but I love it, I think gold metal is a classic look, so its a nice spin on a classic look imo
