January for the sole fact that I had to work around summer (Do not like the weather!!), football season, Lent, and Mardi Gras!

We’re getting married on December 14th, 2019. FH is wearing his dress blues so he didn’t want to wear it in hot weather!! Of course I don’t blame him either!! So we decided to get married in cooler weather. Also wedding dresses are hot also!! The only thing that’s worrying me is the snow!! The last 3 yrs here in N.C. it has snowed!!! I just hope it doesn’t snow on our wedding day!! Our wedding colors are black/gold with an accent of ivory. Our venue will be decorated in a Christmas theme but the rest will be his military colors.

Our date is February 15th 2020 we chose that date because my birthday is the 14th and my mother's is the 15th. We chose that date as a way to honor her. She passed away June 3rd 2018.

Nice! I think military weddings are great. Maybe I'm being a bit biased but it would have been nice to have one when I first got married. As for the snow, even if it does, I think the photos would still come out wonderfully. Or does it get like real bad?

We are 2/22/2020! We both prefer cold climates but live in Texas. There was no way we could do a summer wedding. Our colors ended up being bold and darker than originally thought (traded royal blue for a super dark navy complimented by a dark emerald green). the first few weeks in february, our officiant has responsibilities related to Imbolc and the week after begins election season (FMIL is in charge of running primaries). 2/22 was the only day possible so we grabbed it!
