Hey all, I'm hoping for some old time rock n roll song inspo from brides who used (or will use) classic rock tunes for all the different parts of your wedding day (your walking song, processional, recessional, grand E, cake cutting, first dance....or some of them perhaps?) I love old 60s & 70's tunes and while fiance does too, he also loves 80s hair bands as he was a drummer back in the day!) Please share songs you used from these genre's at your wedding, or plan to.....rock on!! LOL

Our church organist is awesome and will be playing Billy Joel songs while people sit and wait...For Once in My Life when I walk down and Born to Run when we walk down afterwards.
Our first dance is Love Is Here to stay by Frank Sinatra and FH and moms dance is Loves Me Like A Rock - Paul Simon

Our recessional songs were Modern Love (Bowie) and What is Life (George Harrison). Groomsman and family walked in to I'll be your mirror (Velvet underground), and our first dance was A Girl Like You (the Troggs). We played stuff like Elvis Costello, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, the Ramones, Pixies, and a bunch of other 80s, new wave, indie, etc.

Our first dance is "Someone Like You" by Van Morrison, my parents are entering to "Waiting for a Girl like You" by Foreigner, we're cutting our wedding pie to "Danny's Song" by Loggins and Messina...there are lots of other classics on our list, I think we might actually need more pop songs haha.
