Hello brides! I’m new to this, so I wanted to know how many of you sleep in your rings. I’ve been taking mine off at night and when I clean. I wish I could wear it all night but it gets stuck on the covers.

I take my rings off in the evenings and I don’t shower in them or wear if the task will be messy or involves the rings possibly getting banged. Oddly, FH proposed with my main engagement ring set. But then minutes later he also pulled out a second more basic ring that he also gave me (funny enough, I remembered it being a ring we saw oneday that FH pointed to through the glass and asked if I liked it). So he surprisingly bought it for me to wear as a backup in those times when wearing my main ring isn’t a good idea.
I take mine off when I clean, shower, or am hand mixing (think meatloaf) something. Otherwise mine stays on. But I think the style of the ring plays a factor into whether you can wear it while you sleep. Mine doesn’t have any sharp corners to catch on or scratch.
I don’t wear my rings at home. It’s too much to deal with. I keep them in the box next to my keys so I know to put them on when I leave. I have never left home without them.
I take my ring off at night, before showering, deep cleaning, and when cooking things on the messier side. I have a ring holder on my nightstand and in the kitchen. Some days when I don’t leave the house, I don’t put it on at all.
I'm new as well, I usually sleep with mines on. I only take it off when I'm combing my hair, washing dishes, and working out. How often do you guys clean your ring?
I absolutely love my ring but my actual engagement ring doesn’t get worn too often. I don’t sleep with it, shower with it or clean with it. Sadly I don’t wear it to work since our policy is only rubber rings that rip if it gets caught and to be honest way too many germs (I work in a prison and on an ambulance). But I love grabbing it to go shopping, doing everyday errands and especially going on dates!
The only time I take mine off is when I shower, give my daughter a bath or change her clothes because I don’t want to scratch her. She’s only 5 months old so she’s still really squirmy lol

When I wear my engagement ring I don't take it off until I got to go to work, then I switched to my silicone ring. If I'm off from work Saturday and Sunday then my engagement ring doesn't come off until Monday morning. Monday through Friday it sits in the ring box because I can't wear it at work.
I take it off for bed, showering, cleaning, working out, putting on hand sanitizer, and messy cooking. Because my setting is so delicate, I’m always so paranoid that I’ll lose stones if I’m not taking extra good care of it. I also want to make sure I don’t dull the sparkle, which chemicals can do over time.
Coming from someone who chipped her diamond and had to get it replaced after only having it for 2 months... I take my ring off for everything. Sleeping, showering, working out or any kind of sport activity. I have a silicone ring that I wear in place of it.
When I first got my engagement ring, it was a little too big, so I'd always take it off because I was so scared to lose it. After I got it sized, I always wear mine except when I put on lotion/wash my face, clean, cook certain foods or do dishes.
I’ve often wondered if I should take mine off at night and could then get a bit smaller. I can’t if I wear it at night because my fingers swell and then the ring feels tight.
I guess I'm an oddball, I don't take it off unless I'm doing something with my hands where it could get stuck or really gross...like planting in my garden or making meatloaf 🤣
