Rings!

I went ring shopping with my bestie to see what I liked and sent my fiance 3 rings I liked. I told him I wanted cushion cut and no halo and the rest was up to him. I didnt want to dictate what he got me since it would mean more to him and he visited the jeweler 8 times to pick out my diamond and design the band. I'm obsessed with my ring and it's so me!!! We went to pick out wedding bands together so I chose the band myself but he loves it too. Picture is my e- ring and band together and then his band.

Also, I'm LOVING seeing everyone's unique rings!!! So pretty!

I love my ring but if I had picked it out I would not have chosen it because my grandma and bff's mom have the same ring, my bff's mom has a matching necklace and earrings of the same setting too. To be honest I think it was part of a popular department store set when Princess Diana rings were popular in the 80s. He bought it from an antique jewelry store because he thought it looked unique and he knows I like emeralds. I love that it's alternative and dainty like me. It's just mildly embarrassing when grandma wears her "costume jewelry" to family gatherings and we're wearing the same ring on different fingers.

All I told him when he asked was that I loved ovals and wanted something dainty as I’m not a huge jewelry person and when I do wear it I like simple pieces. He did so so good!

He knew I wanted rose gold and the emerald cut. I love my ring. It's so simple, but elegant and classic. I couldn't have picked a better one myself.

Mine is an aquamarine (my birthstone) with a dainty halo and band. FH was actually very adamant about the engagement being a surprise that we didn't talk about rings and he didn't mention it to anyone else who knew what kind of ring I wanted, so he proposed with a family ring and then we picked out this ring together. I always wanted an aquamarine stone in my engagement ring so it was perfect for me!

I picked out the design but had no idea how it would look in person!

I had shown my FH so many rings with the style that you see in the first picture so he knew what I wanted. However, he picked out this one with the side detailing. I am IN LOVE. He did such a good job

My FH picked mine. It was not what I was expecting! But I love it. It's a trinity ring, originally designed by Cartier in 1924 (well i did like vintage rings!). The bands stand for love, friendship, and fidelity. Mine was custom made in gold, white gold, and zirconium. They're typically gold, white gold and rose gold.
I love that it looks different every time I look at it, also love that it's not traditional.

We went together & we picked out three we both liked so I’d still be surprised, but I told him if he wanted to keep looking, anything yellow gold, small & rose cut was a-okay! He ended up getting one of the three, I kinda knew it was his favorite but I was still surprised!
