Return Address Labels

Jenn, on October 31, 2011 at 4:30 PM Posted in Planning 0 13

Hi Ladies! I'm getting ready to order return address labels from Vistaprint. Here's my dilemma - FH and I do not live together (and we won't until our wedding night). I want the RSVP cards to be sent back to my house so I can easily keep track of them. Should I just put my name and address on the return address labels or should I put his name too?

Just your name if you're living separately imo

We don't live together either, and I just put my name/address on it since I'm the one keeping track.

Are you wanting to put his name on the return address labels? Is that the dilemma? I don't think it would hurt if you put both names on it and your address. If that bothers you, you could always get a local P.O box. (They cost VERY little!)

Will he be living at your place after the wedding?

If yes, you could always just do

    Jenn and Groom

    123 street

    city, state zip

(no last names - so you can use them after the wedding)

If it will be a new address for you both, then just do your name.

FYI - sometimes when you put in your order they will let you order extra labels at the end for a reduced price. Maybe order those with both your names, your new last name, and your address you both will be living at.

The name doesn't matter on the return address as long as one of the names lives at the address. Post office rules.

I would just put your name and address since they will be going to your house OR if you'd like you could just use each of your first names and your address, I'd say both are acceptable now-a-days.

I was in the same situation...I just put my name one them.

However, I actually just bought a pack of blank address labels that I could print on in my printer, that way I could print out the ones I needed for before the wedding with my address and then I could later print out ones with BOTH our names and our new address for thank you notes after we were married.

I got this idea from someone else on here, but I ordered them as

"The Future Mr. & Mrs. Harper" with our address (we already lived together).

I didn't use them all but I loved the idea and a couple of people who noticed them thought it was cute :-)

I did the same as Karen L. (The Future Mr and Mrs) as we live together already as well.

I would use The Future Mr & Mrs & whos ever address your going to be living at once your married. if its at his house couldnt he just give them to you as they come in?

We live together and I still had them addressed to me with my former last name.

From what I remembered from my first wedding, many moons ago(about 30), they usually go to whomever is hosting the wedding.

However, if you are in charge of keeping track, than have the RSVPs come to your house, addressed to you.
