Like many, my fiance and I postponed our October 10, 2020 wedding to October 7, 2021. We made the decision early on in the pandemic because of clauses in our contract; we couldn't get a 'straight' answer from our venue as to what to do or how these clauses would affect a possible postponement down the road.
Since we made the decision, outside of purchasing New Date cards, I haven't done anything wedding related and since we postponed rather early, there are still things that need to be purchased and things to do! We still need to buy flower girl gifts, bridal party gifts, parent gifts, welcome sign decal, card box, guest book, some day-of accessories for both of us, and favors. We still need to do our food and cake tastings, purchase his attire, and get my alterations.
This weekend I decided to buy our flower girl gifts; these super cute sterling silver necklaces, personalized with their names from Etsy! Less than $15 each. I cannot wait to see what they look like with their names. I'm planning on putting them in these cute heart-shaped zipper pouches I got at Target for a few bucks each.

For those of you that have postponed, did you finish all the details of your wedding before then or do you still have a lot to do? If you have things to do, what's your plan of attack? I'm thinking we are going to finish up buying things, maybe one thing a month so it doesn't pile up next year. Since I already had a timeline of the tasks to complete for this year and I plan to move those tasks out to the same time next year (alterations, booking our honeymoon, tastings, etc).
