Rescheduled Wedding

Kristie, on March 21, 2020 at 7:13 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 7
Ok, this might sound completely stupid but I had to reschedule my wedding due to this covid 19. Do I have to send out another round of invites or can I just send a postcard telling everyone the date changed and tell them to call me or FH or RSVP on my website?

There are change the date cards you can send just like save the dates! A lot of companies are giving discount right now to due to the Corona virus and with how many people are rescheduling. A whole extra invite isn’t needed as long as it is same location and time!

We're sending a save the date card! Don't over think it I say - just send a card to your original invite list.

I would personally call mostly everyone and let them know, but I only have 80 guests. So, sending postcards might be the best.

I'm sorry, Kristie, but so glad you already worked out a new date! I think a "change the date" postcard with some basic info, and pointing your guests to your wedding website with all the updated info, sounds like a good compromise.
