Remove Push-up Padding from wedding dress?

My dress is a strapless sweetheart neckline, and it’s got bra cups sewn into it already, but the cups are push up. I would prefer them to not have the push up padding as I am a little insecure about my chest & feel uncomfortable having it all pushed up. I didn’t notice it until I got my dress altered and everything was where it is supposed to be. Is it possible to remove the padding??

    I’m sure it’s possible but I’d speak with an experienced seamstress because they’d probably need to replace them with non-push up cups, and possibly alter the dress to be smaller so that it still fits you even without the padding.

    Of course. Speak to the seamstress or tailor that’s making you alterations you have every right to say how you want to look on your day. Your buying it you say how you want it. It’s like ordering food.

    That’s definitely possible and shouldn’t be a major alteration, but like Gen said, your dress will probably need to be taken in a little bit for more support.

    Hi Dasha,
    I'm sure your seamstress can fix that for you, I kinda have the same issue, I'm just a little larger than a A cup and my dress has built in pushups, but my seamstress is sewing in more rounded padded cups.Remove Push-up Padding from wedding dress? 1

    I'll do the same! I feel like push up bras make me seem more bulky through my shoulder area. Definitely don't wanna feel bulky on my wedding day...
