Red Carpet Wedding Theme

I'm doing red for my wedding. We're doing roses and Stargazer lillies for the flowers. The darker version of the lillies though. Our colors are black red and silver, which have always been my favorite colors. They also just happen to be our high school colors, but I wasn't even thinking that when I picked them! LOL!

What other colors are you thinking?? For my tables, I am doing a red square linen as an overlay on my round tables, so black round linen underneath with the red square on top. It's gorgeous! I'm also going to do floating candles and rose petals in the water and on the tables. We are having a red carpet and stanchions going into our reception hall because our theme is "old Hollywood". Also, My MOH is wearing a black dress with red heels, and my JBM and FG are wearing red and black dresses. The guys are wearing all black with red ties and suspenders, and my florist is making red decorations for the aisle.

I don't have any suggestions but I'm doing red in April as well. Black, white and red. Poppies are from late spring to early summer.

Red flowers (tulips would be pretty), red bridesmaids dresses, and red velvet cake? There are some great looking red shoes that would look beautiful with a white dress. Depending on your dress, you could add a red sash as well.

If it were me, I'd do what I wanted. If your worried about red in spring, you could go with red flowers, and a different main color.

I never thought about poppies, but that sounds interesting. I was thinking roses and Jasmine flowers since my name is Jasmine. I am trying to incorporate as much Jasmine as possible. I found a photographer named Jasmine and bridal party designer with a Jasmine line. I was thinking old Hollywood but then I didn't know if I wanted to do a vintage theme. I'm thinking Hollywood glam like with a red carpet, step and repeat, maybe a paparazzi feel. We haven't fleshed everythig out yet. Still in the beginning planning phases.

Totally thought you were referencing Game of Thrones. Be aware that if keep calling it "red wedding" you may get some looks or "no" rsvps from fans of the books/movies! Haha

But seriously, if you want red, do it!

Our main color is red. but we are having our wedding in november. I think red can be done all year around. Like said hydreangeas, tulips, red gerber daisies. ROSES which I love. I love the red carpet addition. sounds glam. Would love to see pics of your inspiration
