My photographer is based out of Macon, GA. She used to live in Winder. She's been awesome so far. She was very affordable as well. EE Photography.

We are planning right now to have a publix cake. My FSIL warned me about Publix floral for flowers, so I am back to figuring out where to get my bouquets, boutonniere, and center piece flowers.

We got a Publix wedding cake for my niece. It was very dry. It could of been just be a fluke because most Publix cakes are very good. I however got hydrangeas and baby's breath for my engagement party there. I just made sure I spoke to the right person (I had a friend who was in charged of the floral department). She order me extra cases of flowers and I was able to pick which ones I liked and they just put the rest to sell to other customers.

If you are considering flowers from Publix, I recommend you talking to Laurie at the Watkinsville Publix. I'm not sure how far that is from you but that Publix caters to the "higher class" so they tend to always have a better selection of floral and the associate there takes care of the flowers.

Interesting about the wedding cake - I've always loved Publix cakes! I've also heard good reviews about Costco cakes (the couple has a smaller "wedding cake" and then serves a sheet cake).

View Quoted Comment They will be shooting and videoing our wedding on Nov 2nd. We were just blown away by their portfolio. The only thing is that your engagement pictures don't come free like most photographers do. The only thing you get is a free "ring shot" which we LOVED!! I posted a picture of mine on here if you'd like to look at it under my profile.
We did ALOT of research before we chose Mike Moon and we are excited that we did. They are a little more expensive than some of the others we are looking at. But for the quality you will get and the piece of mind knowing that you'll have a photographer at your wedding even if something happens to the one that gets assigned to shoot your big day. That's huge to us.
Also know that if they take your pictures, they do not allow any other professional photographer there to video. We didn't know that part until we signed the contract.
