Reception Help!( Tampa/FL Area)

Hello ladies,

I'm having a very small, intimate wedding (15-20 people max) and would love to have my "reception/ celebration" gathering at a restaurant, preferably one where we can have a private dining room and on a reasonable budget. I know with a crowd this size it should not be difficult but I really want to go somewhere were we have a little privacy, feel like a reception but still very casual.

I was curious if anyone had any recommendations where we can go or if anyone attended any weddings where the reception was similar in size, and where they held the reception?

All and any help is appreciated!

Have you tried the vendor tab? There are restaurants on it as well as traditional venues.

FH's family does all their events at Bern's Steakhouse. It's pretty pricey but a true experience- I love the dessert room and the restaurant tour!

Bern's OMG makes me drool just thinking about it! Are you open to St. Pete? 400 Beach, Ceviche, The Hanger (more casual but very cool over looking the airport), the Vinoy has a restaurant with a private room I believe...

Hey ladies, were open to the st pete area as well.

We are on a budget, Berns a little bit much for us. As far as atmosphere goes, were pretty open. I'd like maybe a private dining room.

Does anyone know of any great bay area restaurants that cater? Many catering companies I called wont do events less than about 40 and since were having such a small group we were thinking maybe a restaurant that caters? We might end up having a backyard reception on a waterfront property and if done right it could look great! I just need food haha

There should be restaurants with banquet rooms that you can utilize. We have several restaurants in our area with option (north Florida) including Maggianos. You might need to get creative, but it's not hopeless!

I was also going to suggest Maggianos. They have a lovely dining room that even allows room for a dance floor if you'd like. Also, Jackson's on Harbor Island has a lovely room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay and they only charge for the food and you can also decorate, have a dance floor, etc.
