Reception Grand Entrance

Do you have to do this? I personally would just let your bridal party walk in with the rest of the guests and just have yourselves announced. That's the important part. As a BM I always feel so uncomfortable with the cheesy dance-in and announcement. I just assume that the ppl who don't me don't care, and the ppl that know me, don't need me to be announced or anything. Just walk in with your new H!

We're having our DJ play Thunderstruck (AC/DC), and he'll announce the bridal party in pairs (BM/GM) by name, and who they are to us. Example: bride's brother John Doe and Groom's sister Jane Smith!!

It might be kind of cheesy, but it feels like fun to us, so we're going for it!!

I really like Cristy’s idea of having people walk in as pairs, announcing who they are, or you could even leave this out if you liked. They don’t have to dance or anything just walk to their seats and join the rest of the guests waiting on y'all!

The reason I didn't want to do that is purely for comfort level. Literally the groomsmen and bridal party know nothing of one another. I just don't want anyone to feel awkward even if it is just an escort to their seats. Sadly, I'm also a little concerned about some groomsmen's GF's getting a jealous...I'm still contemplating how I will play this out
