Hello Brides... Just curious when you plan on having everything wrapped up. What is you reception end time?

11pm so out of state guests can still make it back home , since we are in New England . The venue is close to the CT,VT and NY boarder.

11pm.... no more music after that time per venue contract..... it is in the middle of a residential neighborhood so i get it!

Our DOC has us planned to be out at 10:30...but we're changing (well, I am...FH is probably going to wear his kilt forever) and then having an afterparty at a hookah lounge nearby for anybody who wants to come. I expect to get back to the hotel about 2:00 am.

Mine is ending at 8 p.m. with planned after party. We are heading off to honeymoon early the next morning so we planned an early night.

Officially shortly after we cut the cake around 9 but then we are doing an 'after party' from 10-midnight in the location. We (and our friends) love to dance!

I am having an afternoon wedding. Ceremony starts at 1 pm. The ladies on here helped me decide when to end my reception. Our reception will go until 830 pm. I guess the normal reception length is 4-5 hours!

7pm. We're having an after party at the brewery next to our hotel, which will probably wrap up around 10ish.

10 pm is when music has to end at our venue.

We have a hard stop at midnight, otherwise we'll get charged on a per-person basis.

The street behind our venue is known for its bars, so we might do an afterparty at one of them.

Our send off is at 10:15. We will have to come back after all the guests leave to help pick up though.

Ours will probably end about 9:30, guests out by 10, and clean up done by 11.

Our venue requires an 11pm end time, which is fine since we are older. If we're feeling up to it and if anyone else is (after a long day), we'll reconvene in the hotel bar for an after party gathering.
