Reception decor

For those using votives and floating candles for reception decor are you buying them on your own or renting them from your florist or a rental company? I’m not sure which route to take! Help!! All recommendations are welcomed!

You can buy these in bulk for cheap at Dollar Tree.

Renting. The votives with candle were $2 to rent, and they set up, light, and take down. I'm not much of a DIY bride.

Are you renting this from a rental company or your florist?

It's through our venue who also handles flowers.

We rented candles from our florist. I didn’t want to have to deal with buying, setting up, and figuring out what to do with things afterwards.

I bought the floating candles on amazon. The vases from the dollar general. I got the votives (candles and glass holders) from tableclothsdfactory.com

I'd get quotes from a rental company and your florist first. If you have a day of coordinator, they should be able to handle setting them up, lighting them, and dealing with them at the end of the night. If it's just you and your family, I'd lean toward renting them.
