We’re playing the shoe game. I’m not sure if you have heard of it. But the DJ ask a series of questions and you raise the shoe to who does what. Ex...Who’s a better cook. FH would raise my shoe, I would raise mine. (FH can’t cook). Another one is Who’s falls asleep faster?? FH raised his shoe, and I raise his shoes (FH was 21 yrs military so he can fall asleep in no time). There more questions you can come up with, some are pretty funny!!

Diana I have heard of that one. It is usually quite entertaining. We are both active duty, 16yrs and 21 years, so we can both sleep anywhere but he definitely falls asleep faster.

We were going to do a bouquet/garter toss but we looked over our guest list and realized that we have 8 single women and 3 single men... and not one of the men is outgoing enough for that. So we are doing an anniversary dance and I'll give my toss bouquet to the last couple.

We are also doing a dollar dance (and whoever gets the most shoves cake in the others face... I know people will pay to see that). Finally, I am arranging a dance for kids and their moms. We have lots of littles attending (around 30ish) and we will have our own son there, and i wanted him to be involved because hes a big part of our lives. ❤

My FH is military too and that sleep thing is amazing. I would eat a box of Benadryl and he would still be asleep before me. Lol.

Oh I like that! We dont have our own littles however we have 25+ littles coming so that would be a really good idea. Thank you!

We also are not doing the garter toss/bouquet toss. We are the last of the singles in our group so it wouldnt work well.

My FH keeps joking that I'm using our lack of single friends as an excuse but at his sisters wedding I caught the bouquet and then best man and I made a gag out of it. I'm not shy. Lol.

I am all for keeping the party rolling and having guests involved which is why I am asking the question. I heard about a game for the kissing during dinner vice clinking glasses. For example bean bag toss or a "monkey see, monkey do" style.
We are good at sleeping at random. Lol

The military gives us special skills. Sleeping anywhere and standing in lines for ungodly amounts of time. Lol

We are doing the shoe game, bouquet toss and garter toss. We will also be having a selfie scavenger hunt in the building as it is a historic building with a secret passageway. (Not sure how the last one will go or if anyone would do it...I hope so)

When you figure that one out I'd like to know the details. It sounds interesting.
I was going to make a little activity book for the littles and one of the games was going to be which character silhouette is on the center piece. If they play they play if they dont oh well. I'm having fun making them

Well our room is being flipped and the guests are asked to exit the main room but invited to take the self tour of the building. (There are various rooms they can hang out in) I’m thinking that in our program I will say for them to do the selfie scavenger hunt then.

Is it weird not to have any? Should we have them? I know we aren't doing garter toss or bouquet toss. Most friends are already attached. Probably doing Mother & son dance. My father passes away years ago and my mom's in a wheelchair. She already said no dancing with her.
