We used silk and I’m soooo happy with how they turned out! I love being able to look at my bouquet every day and remember our wedding 💕 bridesmaid bouquets were silk too and they all loved being able to keep them afterwards! I bought all the flowers from hobby lobby and made them myself, but there are so many web sites and Etsy pages out there. I also know someone who’s using sola wood flowers and those look beautiful as well! Another perk of using faux flowers is that you know exactly what they’re going to look like on your wedding day—I’m a little bit of a control freak so leaving it up to a florist and not being able to see the final product until they arrive on my wedding day was stressful lol

I had fake flowers they looked nice all day and didnt really had to worry about them at all ..... everyone thought they were real though

Going with artificial flowers due to budget.

Sharing my experience- I bought a faux bouquet and matching bout. on Etsy. After, I selected coordinating faux flowers/vases on afloral.com for centerpieces and the arch decor. I added the flowers to their eucalyptus garland for the arch and assembled the centerpieces. I’m really happy with how it all turned out! Now we enjoy it all as decor in our home and everything matched perfectly because... favorite colors. BONUS: We ran out of light for photos and I was pretty sad at the lack of portraits of hubby and I. We did another shoot months later and it was so great to have our bouquet/bout in perfect condition!

I think for flowers no one gets close to like arbor/arch and hanging installations, faux makes sense but only If cheaper. For personal flowers and centerpieces that people will touch and smell, I prefer fresh flowers. I just enjoy them and they smell nice! But flowers are super high on my priority list so I’m doing all fresh but just ordering premade bouquets and centerpieces wholesale. I don’t have specific vision of what I want bouquet to look like so I’ll be easily pleased. If you do have specific vision and it includes out of season or expensive flowers, faux might be the way to go.

I’m not personally a fan of artificial (for the smell, look, or texture), but to each her own!

I'm planning on artificial flowers. Real are beautiful and you don't have to worry about arranging them yourself. But artificial you can make it the way you want it. Have time to arrange and rearrange if needed, they last longer, and they can be a lot cheaper.

I got wood flowers through Southern Blooms Co. They are absolutely BEAUTIFUL and won't die!

I'm doing fake flowers for mine and my bridesmaids bouquets, they are cheaper and you can find some that look like real flowers.

I'm doing artificial silk flowers for my whole wedding. It's cheaper, last longer and you can keep your bouquet forever. I'm going to have a nice glass case made for mine. I think whatever you choose to do it will be beautiful.

I’m doing faux; sola wood flowers to be exact! They look super real but are cheaper than real flowers, especially if you do them yourself! And I can keep my bouquet after 😍

I'm doing half real and artificial

I went faux and I got them early. I know they look amazing with the dress color I picked out and I have no worries. One less thing to stress about as the wedding gets closer. I got mine on etsy from the shop Lily of Angeles
