I'm doing all artificial flowers for mine. I have really bad allergies and I don't want to sneeze all day.

They cost the same really. Fake flowers that look real are great for DIY BUT they never look as nice in pictures as the real deal. You can buy bulk flowers even from your local grocer for pretty cheap. More greenery less actual flowers will save you tons
Im doing my own decorations so I decided with faux flowers. Micheals got a really good sale going on now. So I stocked up

I needed to see this comment! I was originally going to do fake for my bridesmaids and real for me. But after looking at the fake I wasn’t too thrilled in seeing them so I knew I wouldn’t be thrilled the day of my wedding. My fiancé convinced me it’ll be worth spending the money on, he said well only do it once. (So that helped) lol. Now I’m going to sell my fake ones online and get real! Waiting to hear back on a quote.
This is awesome news Emily! So glad you are opting to use real flowers. A local florist that I know made my bouquet, Bridesmaids bouquets corsages and boutonnieres. And for my centerpieces I went to a local farm that grows fresh flowers and walked through the fields and picked my own flowers which was awesome. It was so affordable
Im looking into doing artificial flowers for our centerpieces. And natural flowers for my bouquet and bridesmaids. I follow this amazing woman on YouTube who makes artificial centerpieces for weddings.
I'm going with faux for the bridal parties flowers, and real for my bouquet and my fiance's corsage. I spent $250 on fake flowers and have enough to make 7 bouquets, 7 boutonnieres, and can still decorate. THe price for my bouquet and matching boutonniere comes to about $150.
