Well it all depends on how you want to keep it bouquet when your throw it. Real flowers will stay in contact for a while not keep as long. Just depends on what and how much you want to spend. Real flowers add up and so does Silk. Just get several ideas from others.

That’s a beautiful display! I prefer to have real flowers because I’m not interested in having tons of faux flowers laying around for the next 20 years.
I am going to mix but with mostly artificial. My designer convinced me because they look so real now and the weather affects the beauty of the flower. Its going to be hot when we get married and having them shipped in..in and out of refrigeration and heat can wilt them.
I wanted to do faux flowers but soon found out that , they’re just as expensive because they look so real! I soon found out that obviousely it can’t replace the touch , feel and smell of real flowers . Basically , if you’re allergic to flowers than faux would make sense.
I am all for real flowers! I originally was going to use fake and I am so glad that I changed my mind and used real. Flowers make me happy and they smelled amazing!
I love real flowers, but we are eloping and marrying outdoors so I decided to go fake with live greenery. I can get the colors I want so they will stand out in photos. Too much hassle for real, last thing I want to do on the day of my wedding is pick up items. Everything will be ready to be hiked in.
I bought artificial arrangements, but they look real! They're amazing. I opted mostly for the ease. I got them early and I can have the centerpieces ready well beforehand, instead of scrambling with fresh flowers just before the wedding. I ended up spending about 1K for my flowers (1 large cascading bouquet, 6 corsages, 11 boutonnieres, 10 centerpieces, 1 flower crown).
I'm doing Faux, and I'm making them myself. I might even have my bridesmaids help me by adding their own touch, like beaded ribbons and gems glued on the stems. There are so many tutorials and images you can imitate to achieve what you are going for. Hobby Lobby has these large stem faux florals with these realistic textures (which I will be using for my own Bouquet).
I am considering a similar option - real flowers for bride's bouquet and for groom's boutonniere where everything else will be decorated with faux flowers.
