Random things you're paranoid about

As my wedding date quickly approaches, I find myself worrying about the most random hypothetical situations. Yesterday, I couldn't stop worrying about potentially having a cold sore on my wedding day! I get them once or twice a year and they always blister and look hideous.

I typically get one in the winter months, and one in the summer months.

What random things do you fear will happen on your wedding day?

I know it's bad practices to obsess over things that haven't happened and likely won't, but I can't be alone on this.

Currently I am irrationally fearful I will get pregnant. I am on BC, but I am still so scared I will be 9 months pregnant at my wedding. I know the easy solution would be stop having sex, but I have been having a hard time getting FH on board with that one.

I have melasma and I'm worried about my skin looking horrible because the wedding is in late summer and sun activates it.

People RSVPing yes and then not coming.

Sweating off all my makeup in 5 seconds! It's not an outdoor wedding, but still. I'll be nervous and it's August.

    Vendors bailing.

ETA - people leaving way early. No one dancing.

Getting a cold from all the stress, mothers (esp mine) causing drama, fears that no one will show up, weather, dress not fitting... you name it! I'm a woman on the edge these days (but only 18 days away!)

How do yall deal with the stress? Right now I just have my eye on the prize, get to that day and then to the honeymoon where I don't have to talk to anyone but FH and don't have any decisions to make!

No one dancing and having a good time. Or they are dancing but I look like an idiot. Or my boobs popping out while dancing! Also ugly crying. And guests showing up as a surprise. Can't wait to see how much more I can start to stress about as I get much closer to the big day lol

Stressing about it will make it happen. Try not to fret over "what if" things that you can't control. You will drive yourself crazy if you do.

I'm worrying about a few members of FH's family complaining about everything. I keep imaging a few people not liking their table arrangements and trying to switch or moving chairs leaving other tables unbalanced. I also keep imaging people showing up with extra guests RSVP'd or not. ...and getting a migraine! I'm not good when those kick in.

I have a skin allergy due to the sudden burst of pollen in spring time, causing lots of little red bumps on my arms/hands and legs/feet. And of course, when am I getting married? May. I'll be having reoccurring nightmares for a year lol

    I'm just gonna say it:

i'm worried about having diarrhea. I get an upset stomach when I'm nervous and so i'm pretty worried that everyone will be waiting on me while I take my time in the bathroom.

We sent a lot of our invites and stuff early because people need to travel.

Lately, I've worried that people will forget and not show up because maybe we were too early.

Yes, afraid of zits, or getting sick, or vendors not showing up, or running behind schedule, the list goes on and on! And I'm terrified of hating the photos! I'm reaaally not photogenic. I love our photographer's work, but I'm uncertain if that is because everyone they shoot is good looking or if they really are just that good! Hoping for the latter! Anxiety is seriously kicking in now!!

Pimples, rain, falling while walking down the aisle, FH or I getting hurt during an excursion before the wedding (we're going to the blue hole in JA & there's alot of jumping into water from high heights there). But I'm just going to try to relax, drink lots of water, and stretch before our excursion.

I'm afraid of getting a pressure headache or a migraine the day of. I dont want to crawl into a dark room by myself on my wedding day. I'm on numerous medications, but unfortunately they still happen.

FMIL doing something else crazy and my family getting into it. (FMIL is coming in a white dress- ) or some other drama erupting. If it does, security is kicking everybody out!

I have anxiety so I was naturally panicking about a ton of random shit. Will people show up? Will I trip over my veil? Will husband show up? Will the food be good? Will I look good?

The answer was yes to all of the above. Every single thing I was so worried about, worked out perfectly. You will worry a lot, but try not to. It will all work out. Smiley smile
