Rain on wedding day

Anyone had rain on their wedding day? My wedding is on March 28 in Biloxi, MS and it’s looking like it will be raining that entire week, including the day of. We have a back up plan for our outdoor ceremony but just feeling really disappointed. It’s a beach wedding, so the idea of not having photos on the actual beach makes me so sad. Any advice?

    Buy those big clear umbrellas and have a backup plan.

    We had RAIN. We had all the rain, thunder, hail & lightning. Our venue lost power twice and the streets flooded, so our ceremony was delayed 30ish minutes until guests arrived. We made it work and our vendors were great. I did wish I had purchased those clear umbrellas though. We got a really pretty rainbow after though!

    A friend of mine got married on the beach, but due to some logistical issues by the time of the ceremony it was already dark and they did not get many good pictures. What they did was get dressed up again the next day in the afternoon and went out with the photographer for a photoshoot at the beach. This worked because the wedding was pretty low-key (friends did their own hair and makeup). But it's always an option to see if you could hire your photographer for an extra session on the beach on a sunny day.
