Question about altering wedding dress straps

I recently tried on dresses and found a lovely dress, but I am not a big fan of the straps. Does anyone know if there is a way to reduce how wide the straps are so more of my neck shows? Overall, the dress firsts well and is the correct size, and the price is very good. The bridal shop is holding it for me until tomorrow morning (sample sale) so I can decide!

That's a question you'll have to ask alternations about and it'll probably be pricing altering the dress like that.

I’m not a seamstress but I’ll lower the V neck to give you more room between your neck and chest. It might have more cleavage but would make you look longer! I don’t think you can make the straps thinner because of the back. I’ll consult an expert to make sure.
