While I don't have kids, this virus is proving to be very annoying when it comes to wedding planning, being that I can't book anything.

I have 2 kids but I have put a lot of my planning on hold. I am still 6 months out though and have most of my major stuff done. I am holding off on the rest to see what happens over the next couple of months. I’m not sure how old your kids are but maybe give them some small tasks, just to keep them occupied. I let my daughter search for her dress and save ideas since I can’t order it until we get closer and my 12 year old son is helping find ideas for the kids favor bags. Still not buying anything but it keeps them busy when I have to do other things.

That’s good, mine are 6 and 7 year old boys. If I ask them to help with some DIY projects for the wedding. They say no thanks and ask for the tablet which they aren’t getting lol

We have two daughters aged 2 and 5, and our wedding plans have changed completely. We were supposed to get married on April 4th and that is not happening at all. We're from Toronto so literally everything is on lock down and establishments are still closing down. All city hall locations are closed, all restaurants are closed (except for takeout and delivery). SO many of our guests had expressed panic and refused to come to our wedding before we even made a decision to change our plans. In the end, we decided to have an intimate wedding ceremony/reception in a few months (when it appears safe to do so) and then have a bigger reception when this entire pandemic really calms down. A lot of fam and friends have even refused to come even if we moved our wedding to the end of this year, like October or November. So my fiance and I are just going to get married at City Hall (when they open back up) and then take our intimate 28 guest list to a restaurant. That's all we can do as we lost so much money and would need lots of time to recuperate from our losses. And I guess it just better that way. No guests are really wanting to go to our wedding so we had to do what was best.

Not quarantined with my own kids but I am a teacher so I've been working remotely and helping my mom (who works at a hospital) to homeschool my brother, who is in elementary. And let me tell you it has been a doozy. I've tried to not plan too much since 1) we don't know what the future looks like with this thing and 2) I'm sure vendors are worried about their businesses and families too. I've stuck to limiting myself to a specified time of planning (my brothers lunch or "recess"). Focus on what you can control. You'll get through it! And if that means getting through it with wine, that's okay too! 🤗

I have 3 kids ages 2, 7, and 10. I have been stuck in a rut when picking a venue and a date because of everything. I want to get married this year but idk if that possible. I can’t even go to a craft store and get supplies for diy invitations that I could at least start.
