Pure Romance party as a bachelorette party?

Monique, on August 3, 2012 at 9:11 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 7

For my bachelorette party my bf wants to have a pure romance party as my bachelorette party. I told her I don't want strippers. She doesn't go out much so coming to a common ground is going to be difficult. I love my bf but sometimes her butt could be a little stubborn. Lol and she knows it. I love her though :-). Anyway I thought that it would be to boring n I dnt go out either but we could go to the plaza or westport n enjoy ourselves. I'm also thinking how other people would maybe be bored. I also dnt drink. But I want my attendants to enjoy theirselves. I tried to tlk to her about the bachelorette party. But you could tell she wasn't liking the fact of us going out n me not only being satisfied about having a pure romance party as a bachelorette party. I want her to be happy also but I also want to be happy. Im okay with the pure romance party as a starter but I want to go out on the town :-) ladies I need your help. How do I bring it up to her again? What do I say?

Well... couldn't you start with the pure romance party (I have no idea what that even is) and if your other friends want to go out afterwards, then go out! If it's going to hurt her feelings, it doesn't have to be going out as your bachelorette exactly, just going out with friends afterwards. I don't know.

I went to a Bachelorette Party that was a Pure Romance party. We had plenty of cocktails and snacks and just had a fun girls night in. However, I can understand wanting a night out. Both options can be fun. Whatever is decided, be sure to make the best of it and have fun!

    Hi Date Twin!

I used to sell adult novelties for Spice It Up Parties and the bachelorette parties were really fun!! The more products your girls purchase the more free stuff for YOU & your DH!

Usually yes, the party started at 5 or 6 and then the girls would go off to wherever and have some fun. Usually drinks and dancing!

I would bring up to your friend that yes, you're into the Pure Romance party but you would really like to go out afterwards - just to dance! It sounds like your friend just isn't used to going out but once she's out there with you. I'm sure she'll have a great time!

@ judith...its a passion party. It has lotiins n toys to spice up ur sex life. Not sure about lingerie though. Lol. Also I want to strt off the night iwth the oassion party n then a night of dancing. A pefect compromise.

@sara...yes I will defintely make the best of it.

@spicy...I told her exactly that but she isn't entertaining the fact of me wanting to go out. Lol. You hit it right on the nose, she rarely goes out n not really use to it. Hopefully we can do both!

Ahh the Plaza and Westport...my choice would be the plaza epecially if you do not go out often. Westport is just so "meat market" to me. What about Power & Light? Last time I went there, we all had a good time and we were not "bothered" by a bunch of men trying to "hook-up". Maybe you could talk to her and explain that you want everyone to have fun and it could be dinner and chit chat?

I forgot about the power and light district hmmmm. I like that :-) westport is a meat market lol. I'm going to talk to her again. I just want everyone to have a good time even her. She is so stressed n tired sometimes. I just want her to loosen up have a good time n enjoy herself.
