Puerto Rico Honeymoon Help

My FH and I are planning on taking our honeymoon in January of 2020 (about 3 months after our wedding) and are having a hard time picking a place. We both love to travel but he wants warm and I want Europe. However, I have been considering Puerto Rico, it seems like such an amazing place. If we went I would like to see more than just one section of the island, specifically San Juan area, and Culebra. Is it reasonable to do both in one trip? I would like to stick to a 7-day vacation. Would it make more sense to just visit Culebra one day and stay in San Juan? Or to split the trip up and spend a few days in both places? What is the best way to get to Culebra? I think we would do Airbnb instead of a hotel. Pretty much any advice on either place or Puerto Rico, in general, is greatly appreciated!

You can take a ferry to Culebra from Fajardo or fly from San Juan. I have not been to Culebra but I have been told it’s beautiful.

Puerto Rico is a beautiful honeymoon destination! I hope to visit one day.
I believe you would be able to do both in one trip if you wish. According to a member in this discussion (Puerto Rico Honeymoon), Culebra is a few dollars on a boat trip and you can come back in the same day. You should connect with Alejandra for more information and advice!
As I mentioned in this discussion, I would recommend you check out the Lonely Planet for recommendations on places to stay and things to do and see.
Will you book this trip via a travel agent? Or will you plan and arrange it yourselves?
