Any of my ladies on here struggle with psoriasis like me? I have it on the back of my head on my hair line and a little on my neck. Any of my ladies on here struggle with psoriasis like me? I have it on the back of my head on my hair line and a little on my neck. I feel like I have to wear my hair down because I'll look "crusty" or something with it showing. My FH has helped me try so many things but I feel like I just can't get it under control. Anyone who has it or a skin condition have an advice? I can post a photo if it will help.

ETA: spelling & words sorry lol

I have it but not on my head or neck. It's on my legs and arms and some spots in my back. I bought aveeno from amazon. It's an oatmeal bath. It didn't completely take the psoriasis away but they have diminished a ton! They aren't crusty just red spots as of right now. I try to take a bath with a packet one time a week.

My aunt used to have it really bad, like long sleeves and pants year round (and she lives in the south) but about 2 years ago she started Humira and now it is almost gone. I would suggest that you go to a dermatologist and see what they suggest

Definitely talk to a dermatologist and I recommend maybe going to a different one to get a second opinion. I wasn't diagnosed correctly the first time around and it got bad. But there are so many new treatments out there that one is bound to help you at some point!

My FH has it. Light treatment is very effective for him. Being out in the sun helps…and tanning beds. I often wonder if a bili-blanket (usually used to treat babies w/ jaundice) would work.

My FH has psoriasis and is very self conscious about it. Fortunately for us both, I love just rubbing on his skin. The texture on my fingertips soothes me, and it relaxes him as well.

Before we'd met, he'd never saw a doctor about it nor did he think he could afford any treatments other than OTC topical cream. He just began seeing a provider in our area and she prescribed an injection for him to take that would help...but he's afraid to use it! I think it's because he's afraid I won't rub on him anymore if the psoriasis is gone! lol

    Silly self. Smiley smile
