Psa: Wedding Playlist

We've been married for almost a month and this morning our first dance song came on Pandora and I cried. I cried a week or so ago over the father/daughter dance song as well. I think its normal!

I never made a getting ready playlist because I knew I'd be too emotional about it so I let my bridesmaid play music on her phone while we got ready! It was fun not knowing the songs that were coming on, and honestly, we were all talking so much we hardly sang along to the music!

Other than the song I am walking in with and the song we are walking out to, everything else is super happy dance music just for this reason. If I had anything close to sappy, I'd be a wreck all day lol

I am right there with you! I'm actually currently at work and listening to my Reception Dance playlist on spotify right now. I'm hoping that I won't get sick of any of these songs before the wedding because I love grooving to them all!

Does anyone want to share some good songs to add to a wedding playlist? I am still trying to figure out what I want to play for our first dance and father/daughter dance. I could use some inspiration!

Lol ironically, we changed our first dance song just recently. It was supposed to be "our song" from the very beginning (3 years now), but I think I was longing for something fresh for our first dance song.

My getting ready playlist is definitely mostly upbeat music, but even like, thinking of getting ready with my girls and getting ready to marry my man listening to it gets me emotional!...My mom cried at my trial because I looked "bridal" so, the apple doesn't fall far

Yup!! We made out playlists a few weeks ago and I listen to them all the time. 3 months out and i still cry when certain song play. I really thought i would be over this by now. I am making a playlist for getting ready that will only be gangsta rap and hip hop, no love songs, Im hoping that way I wont cry while getting ready.

Yes, every time I listen to the first couple songs on my wedding song idea playlist on YT I cry! Mostly because the first songs are the father daughter dance songs or songs that remind me of family members. Don't feel bad you arent alone
