PSA: Dollar Tree Wedding Invitations! (same DIY kits Michaels sells!)

I wish I had taken a picture... but I assumed that I could find them online. Alas- I cannot!

I was at the dollar tree over my lunch break, and there were wedding invitation sets for sale. 40 invitations (with RSVP cards and envelopes for both)... for $1!!!! I made sure that was the price, because I was like "WTF... this is the dollar tree, everything is supposed to be a dollar, how are these here?" I asked the worker and she let me know that yes, she could not believe it either, but they were $1. She said they did not have any more than were on display but got them as some random deal.

These kits looked VERY similar to those kits that are sold at Michaels for like $30 or so. They had 4 or 5 different types, and if you are on a budget, looking for some decent invitations... head over to the dollar tree and see if yours has them!

    Here is a link for another bride who found them too! This is definitely one of the kits I saw when I was in there today! The ones that I found were in boxes, though- like, exactly like ones sold in Michaels and such.

    Thats crazy awesome. We used a Brides kit for our invites but I ended up getting them at Michael's, (with a 50% off coupon every time!)

    I know! I was honestly about to grab a bunch of them and do so PIFs. If I heard some ladies were interested I actually might! I mean, seriously? $1? Like, it is a steal!

    I actually found Wilton blank wedding invitations at the dollar store. 40 for $3! I was just at another store that had the SAME kits for $30! Amazing.

    I have a Dollar Tree around the corner, so I popped in to take a pic for anyone who is interested Smiley smile

    They only had one color / design at the store by me, but if it worked for someone, this would be one heck of a cost savings!

    Thanks. I may go pop up up at the Dollar Tree down the street from my house. My wedding isn't any time soon, but I have been worrying about the price of invitations. If i can cut this price down then I can use that money elsewhere.
