This is a really cute idea, Lauren!

The bracelet is really pretty and definitely something you would wear again!

    I'm sure they loved it!

Thank you!! I got them from Etsy! Rose gold is one of my wedding colors so the bracelets were perfect for the bridesmaid proposal. 😊

I made boxes based around each persons interest. And all had a rose gold matching bracelet. One girls had a chocolate cake that she loves with nail polish of her favorite color and a gift card and a few other goodies. One was coffee themed with a cute Starbucks cup and gift card and things to go with that theme. My brother is my man of honor so I got him shoes and wrote “shoes for the i dos” and had a card under asking him to be my man of honor and we celebrated with mimosas (I knew he’d say yes so I got the stuff) lol

Personally I think bridesmaid/ groomsmen "proposal gifts" and that whole thing are really unnecessary... You could drive yourself totally insane with all that. Save some energy and money, because you're in it for the long haul and wedding planning is a MARATHON even when you opt out of all that!

I just asked everyone. I called my sister right after FH proposed, and as soon as she answered the phone I said "will you be my MOH?" because that's what she did to me right after her husband proposed to her Smiley smile I asked my 2 cousins at the engagement party, and I asked my friend when FH and I were at her house for dinner.

I've kept things really low-cost, flexible, and fun for the bridesmaids, and now that we're toward the end (wedding this weekend) they all have individually at some point approached me and said how much fun they've had this time being bridesmaids (they've all be bridesmaids before). Multiple have said that they never intended to be bridesmaids again after previous high-stress experiences, but that this has been a blast because it's low-stress, not overly demanding, and doesn't consume their entire lives. One called this time around a "game changer". My point is, I think it's important to think about the demands placed on your crew right from the beginning, and keep it reasonable.

I found these super cute cards on Etsy that can be personalized! I was initially going to do a gift box of some sort, but decided to save those funds to do a bridesmaid thank you gift right before the wedding. I feel like these are also sort of a keep-sake item, and I'll write them a personal note inside. Might do a bottle of champagne/wine for my Maid + Matron of honor along with. They all mostly know this is coming anyway, but I still wanted to ask in an "official" / personal way. Also none of them are local to me so this is way easier to deliver from far away!

I got mine a bottle of champagne (or sparkling cider) with a label on it that said "I Can't Say I Do without You. Will you be my Bridesmaid?" and wrote each of them a note.

My bridesmaids live in two different states and one lives in another country! I had custom cookies mailed to the ones in the US and a custom candle mailed to the one in the UK. Smiley smile They all said yes.

My girls and I are really close, we have a group chat, we talk every day and so before I officially asked they were already throwing out ideas and offering to help with different things so I wanted to do something special for them. I got us matching shirts that are GOT themed since we all plan to go to Ibiza I thought it would be fun to wear together. Then I wrote each of them a heartfelt card where I just let them know what they mean to me and during one of our regular brunch outings and I just brought everything with me and asked them. They all cried when they read my cards and it was super sweet.

I texted them individually first with date, time, cost, etc. Once they said they could do it, I sent formal proposal jewelry boxes with liquor shooters, nail polish & hair ties.

I took them to dinner and gave them each a bottle of wine that said: Will you be my Bridesmaid? Or Maid of Honor.

FH: just treated the groomsmen to dinner and paid for their meal.

I did not pay for the girls’ meals since I bought them gifts.
