Prom dress as wedding dress

Danni, on February 19, 2017 at 7:27 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 62

Hey guys! I recently fell in love with this Alyce Paris dress ....the only thing is it's a prom dress!! Is it "tacky" or cheap to have your wedding dress be a prom dress? I'm getting married in a vintage rustic building, and my theme is "vintage glam" so I didn't want a huge dress, and this dress is just....perfect! Tell me what you think! Also my colors are navy and gold with accents of ivory ..will my white dress clash with the accents of ivory? (Although the embellished portion of the dress has hints of ivory).

Prom dresses are fine! I'm wearing one, too. Prom is insane now, you can barely tell the difference.

Do you have a photo of the front? It could make the dress look too/more "prom-y."

Really pretty- go for it! I've known a few brides that used prom or evening gowns as their wedding gown!

A wedding dress is simply just the name of the dress you get married in. It doesn't necessarily need be be given the label wedding dress or be bought at a bridal salon. It can be anything as long as its what you want and love Smiley smile

I don't see how anyone would know it's a prom dress just by looking at it. It's gorgeous! I would have never known.

Beautiful dress! Instead of accents of ivory can you use accents of white?
