Pro Bono Wedding Planner Gift Ideas

Hello. I have a friend who is helping me with my wedding and posing as my unoffical wedding planner. She is starting a wedding planning business and wanted the experience. She has been fabulous so far, even helping me get a semi-celebrity musican to perform at my wedding! I am not paying her for her services but would like to get her something. Any ideas? Should I give her cash or a gift?

    I may be completely off base here, but I would not pay her.

    1 because she is brand brand new to the industry and you are risking your wedding so she can gain experience. And 2, because she is a friend and paying friends have a habit of ending badly

    Maybe a spa gift certificate or concert tickets instead? Or just a sincere thank you and you can review her services for yelp and the like?

    I wouldn't do cash, but I do like Lauren's idea of the spa gift certificate.

    I like the gift card option, also a kick ass review is probably going to mean the most for her business.
