Being married to my soulmate feels incredible and our day couldn't have been more perfect. Here are some tips, advice and thoughts about our journey to wedding day for all of you future brides still going crazy with all of the planning. One thing we kept going back and forth on was wether or not to do a first look, for all of the reasons usually discussed. In the end we decided to do it and I am so glad we did. It was truly a special moment for the two of us and it did not take away from the moment of me walking down the isle. He cried both times. As the day gets closer it is normal to become more and more crazy, with it starting to peak when you are about two weeks out. It really can't be helped, just know you are not alone. I typed out a very strict timeline and sent it to the photographer, DJ and day of coordinator, so everyone was on the same page. Hair and makeup 8:30 am, the first look 2pm, pictures 2:15-3:00, ceremony 3:45-4:10, family pics 4:15-4:35, We got to participate in cocktail hour till 5, then we went back out for sunset photos and made our grand entrance. Then we did first dance, parent dances, toast, then dinner. Surprisingly we stayed on track all night. We had 48 guests, a budget of 12,000 and got married in Charlotte, NC. Here are the vendors we used, and I would highly recommend all of them, they did a fabulous job and were very good with communication.
