If your best friend invited you to attend her wedding that has a strict "no plus ones" policy where you couldn't bring your spouse, would you go? Why or why not?

Well, it would depend on if FH wanted to go.

He doesn’t have to go with me to every event that I attend.

Depending on what Sport season it is, he probably wouldn’t care.

I wouldn’t go. With how limited my time off is, I’m not spending time traveling and getting done up and not bringing my husband.

No. I’m not going to celebrate someone’s marriage if they can’t respect mine.

Nope! It would be an extremely rude gesture to me.

I highly doubt it. Very rude.

    Nope, that's incredibly rude.

Fortunately all of my friends have manners and would never treat people so badly.

I'm actually not even sure. I know there's some things he wouldn't want to do or places he wouldn't want to go with me so I guess it would depend. Because of the type of guy he is, if I was invited, he would still want me to go. I would feel really weird going without him.

No, that’s so rude. There is a difference between him being unable to attend and him being excluded.

Nope. I’m not celebrating your relationship while you disrespect mine. Plus, a partner/spouse isn’t a plus one.

Nope. We're married. We get invited as a pair.

We might not be able to ATTEND as a pair, due to our jobs, but that's a different scenario, entirely.

No, because I feel like a friend should never keep you from inviting your spouse anywhere!

No-if you’re married, you are a set. A plus one is for a non married person.

Hell yes I'd go. I honestly don't take offense to plus ones as much as other people do -_- it's like if you don't have the space and budget and aren't friends with that person's partner or never met them even then ok. I wanna go to support YOU regardless.

Just to clarify, you would attend as long as your future husband didn't mind you going without him?

Why would you consider it to be "extremely rude"?
