Princess Cut Solitaire Engagement Rings!

Anybody have a 1/4 carat princess cut solitaire engagement ring? If so, what's your wedding band look like? I'm struggling to find something I like with mine.

This is mine, I tried several styles but I think the plain ones looked funny. And the pronged ones looked funny too, but it's probably because my style band is so thick.

ETA - I'm biased because ring 2 is very similar to mine, but I think it would look very nice with yours!

I prefer the third one, personally.

Thank you! My assumption is the channel setting ones may be better. I'm thinking that a little thicker band like I posted may be better as well since my engagement is a thin band.

FW had a princess cut and her band looks almost exactly like Ring 2. I love the way they look together, which is good because I ended up getting the wedding band before I bought the engagement ring.

A princess wrap would fit well. The simplicity would compliment and not compete or overpower your ER.

I wanted my band to be similar but not match the band I already had. I tried on so many until I found this one.

I went with a channel band for my princess cut- love it! You can really do any band, and I think it'd be beautiful!

I might look for bands with baguette-cut diamonds. Brilliant Earth has a few, and I really like this one from Blue Nile.

I would say think about how you're going to wear it (alone? Together always? Together for special occasions?) and your work and hobby environments. Remember too that bands with stones all around can be difficult or impossible to resize, which could present real problems down the line.

    Hi Lauren,

I have 3 stone ring with contour band and it looks amazing. I think, Contour band will be good for you.

    Thanks

Sorry for hijacking the thread... I could find no other way to send a comment to a specific user.

@Rachel - Where did you get your V-prong, knife edge solitaire? It's stunning. Did you find the 1.5mm band to be a good match? If so, what thickness is the e-ring? 2mm? Thanks~
