Pricing decorations

We got these lanterns from Michael's for our centerpieces. They're on sale for $15 off, which really isn't bad for the quality and size, but every so often they offer a 20% off everything including sale items, making them $12 each. We thought that was a great deal and went for it.

Hobby Lobby is my new to go to store (I just have to remember to breathe out of my mouth as the smell really triggers my allergies).
They run 40% off wedding stuff every other week. I got 1200 rose petals for $20. The mini bubbles were really cheap. They also have 50% off chalkboards (if you are doing chalkboard signs, every other week).

If if you want something that is not on sale you can use the 40% coupon.

As the PP’s mentioned, the main stores I see mentioned in the forums where couples have sourced well-priced pieces for decor are Michael’s and Hobby Lobby! Have you checked these stores out?

Apart from the lanterns, what else will you be including in the centerpieces?

Michael's had a lanterns special. Try looking there also at hobby lobby wedding stuff has 50% off every other week. And so does the garlands and other stuff. Hobby lobby has been my go to

Ac more always puts them on sale usually on holidays. This sale was from this past Monday but I see it just about every holiday

Look at local craft stores to scope out some you like and then watch their sales. There is almost always a coupon for a certain amount off an item. You can have multiple people go with you so you can purchase more than one with the discount. I got some lanterns that were originally $20 on sale at Michael's when they had them for 70% so I got them for $6 each. But make sure you are able to purchase enough bc they change their selection often.

AC Moore has been another go to for lanterns for me. They are pretty and inexpensive and have a good variety of styles.

We got ours from Bed Bath and Beyond because they always have a coupon and they had the style we were after. But hobby lobby always seems to have some sort of sale and Michaels has good coupons too!
