Prices of bouquets?

Katelyn, on August 15, 2014 at 12:10 PM Posted in Planning 0 22

We just got a quote for flowers and I think it's a bit outrageous. What are the prices you recieved for your bouquet and your bridesmaid bouquets? I'm in Bucks County PA.

Anywhere from $150-$300 for bridal bouquet and $75-$150 for bridesmaids. Prepare yourself because flowers are not cheap!

Real flowers are ridiculous. All I needed was a bouquet for myself and they wanted $200. I went ahead and made my own for $30 (with silk flowers)

I splurged on my own bouquet - $150. My bm's were just getting babies breath and their bouquets were 20 each. So I decided to get them fake flowers.

I think for me this is my justifyable "spendy" item, since I only get ONE time to get the best bouquet a girl could ask for.

I live in LA where it is usually outrageously expensive. I stumbled upon a wholesale flower market that has it's own wedding coordinator. My bridesmaids bouquets will be $28 and my bridal bouquet will be $70. I feel like I requested somewhat elaborate bouquets, but I was also shocked and super happy at how much lower their quote was then I had expected.

My bridal bouquet is $175 and my bridesmaid bouquet is $50. And that is base price for my florist. Which looked pretty average with the other two quotes I got. Flowers are not cheap... Our budget definitely got bumped a little when we realized that. :/

I live in Lancaster, PA and I'm doing a broach bouquet, but I did get my bridesmaids real flowers and they were only $40 each so I'm sure if I would have got real flowers for mine it would have been no more than around $100

This is everything I got for $500

    5 BM bouquets

2 sets of petals for FGs

    8 boutineers

    Tossing bouquet

    Pew decor.

My flowers are mostly hydrangeas, coral garden roses, minty green leaves...

I'm using a Center City florist, so my prices are a bit steep. (Although I feel like all of the Philadelphia areas are expensive) My bouquet is $250 and the bridesmaids bouquets are $80. Koch's mom works as a florist in the area. She may be able to steer you in the right direction.

All together my flowers are $820 for:

    Mine

    8 Bridesmaids

    7 Groomsmen

    Floral Arch

    Floral crown

About a dozen bud vases to be filled

Mind you, I'm not paying for set up and delivery because it is a gift from my mom's good friend. And we are saving HUNDREDS by using the bouquets as center pieces. My BMs love this because now they have a place to keep their flowers all night without them getting ruined : )

    100-400. in North NJ.

Real flower bouquets are very labor intensive to make and flowers themselves are expensive. You do expect them to last though hours of photos, ceremony and possibly part of the reception, so they need to be conditioned, treated and handled well.

That being said, if it's not a priority, do something else.

Ya I also got a package deal. I think its the best way to go.

If they bill you per bouquet, you'll end up paying more.

Mine was $65 and my bridesmaids were $35. I'm from the southern riverside area (not quite sure where Bucks County is in comparison).

I'm in Idaho, and we are going through a grocery store because they quoted me for way less and have great reviews. My bridal bouquet is #75-$100, bridesmaids are $25 (that's the super low end though), and I'm getting flowers for centerpieces (just one or two blooms and greenery) for $5 each (we have to assemble the centerpieces though). someone else quoted each of our centerpieces at FORTY DOLLARS each. For one or two blooms!

Mine's been quoted at around $185 for the bouquet (I want as identical to the photo as it can get!) and I believe the bridesmaid's have been quoted around $120-150

I bought mine from Michaels for less than $10. I didn't realize it was BM bouquet until later. But I didn't need anything elaborate. I tied a little ribbon around it, and I think it's perfect and beautiful. I'd make the same choice again.
