Prices of bouquets?

It all depends on the size, style, and flowers that you want. I used to be a floral designer, and would say that for our shop, which was inside a grocery store in Pittsburgh, PA (still provided full service) - the average bridal bouquet was $135-150. For brides who were on a budget, we would normally suggest a number of different thing depending on the style and colors of the wedding:

- Using a few stems of hydrangea with no other flowers - hydrangea are large blooms, so 2-3 jumbo hydrangrea or about 5 standard size made a really nice-sized bridal bouquet. They are expensive per bloom (we charged about $6-10 depending on if jumbo or not), but since you need so few, it saves money.

- Also, alstromeria is a beautiful flower, and is typically pretty inexpensive. Same thing with cushion pomps, and those give off a fluffy feel when clustered together.

- If the bride absolutely LOVED a certain expensive flower (peonies, calla lilies, certain types of orchids, etc.) we'd suggest to her to include a few in her bouquet and eliminate them from the bridesmaids bouquets

- Decrease the size of the bouquets by a little bit.

Bridesmaids were typically $45-65 on average and almost always included less of the expensive things, if any at all. And of course, they were a noticeably smaller size. Call your florist and ask if they will work with you on your budget. If you are unable to bring it down to a realistic number, can you try maybe DIY with silks (fake flowers)? It's so much easier than you'd think!! I hope it all works out for you guys, however you do it!
