Prewedding Event Destination Wedding

I would say this is sort of what the rehersal is, like getting at least your family together before the big day. If you have the money to host another party on top of that then go for it! Lucky you!

You could do a meet up at a restaurant/bar. Or an adventure activity for those who have arrived early enough. I have a group of friends that invited everyone over to the pool and hung out and had fun. This was more casual and not a required event but more for fun. I think for those are have arrived they will want to go and hang out. I would if it were me.

The rehearsal dinner could work for this, or depending on when you arrive, you could do a welcome dinner or cocktail hour. I like the idea of having everyone meet up at the pool or hotel bar to kick things off. If I were going to a destination wedding, I'd enjoy getting together with everyone.

Maybe tequila tasting, or a catamaran ride. You could always do welcome cocktails or a welcome party at your hotel or a local place. We’ve been to dw where the welcome reception was just beer and wine and light appetizers. The catamaran ride everyone paid themselves. It includes lunch and drinks.. It was something we would’ve done anyway so it was nice to do as a group.
