I invited some of the ladies from my family and my FH's family to a wine tasting. The purpose is to give everyone an opportunity to get to know each other before the wedding. I'm paying for the tasting which is the plan. Do I need to foot the bill for any bottle purchases as well?

No. You can ask staff to make it clear that bottles are available for purchase.

Nope. You've done your part with the tasting. They can pay for the bottles.
