Pre-Wedding Invisalign... Anyone Else??

For sure! i like them much better than metal braces. I've only had them for a few months but there's already so much improvement.

I should've done it, but with all the money being spent on wedding-related stuff, it killed the dream. Same thing here -- had braces for seven years as a kid, but everything is moving.

I also hate the idea of wearing a retainer for the rest of my life, so, that also helped discourage me.

I started the process before he proposed thinking we wouldn't be getting married until next fall! luckily our families have been awesome in helping with everything so the chunk taken out by this process didn't hurt us too bad when it came to wedding related funding.

I currently have invisalign. I just started tray 8 of 20. I'll be about 75% done by the wedding. I started noticing changes pretty quickly. I hadn't considered having my brackets removed since I only have a couple that are noticeable in the front. I'll definitely ask next time I go in. I don't have orthodontic insurance so it hasn't been easy juggling wedding costs and braces, but it's been worth every penny! I considered the clear metal braces, but couldn't picture wires in my mouth on the big day. I strongly recommend invisalign as long as you are disciplined and leave them in the recommended 22 hours per day.

I don't have orthodontic coverage either. luckily My dentist takes the carecredit card so i can split it up in to smaller payments! it really is amazing though how quickly changes start happening.
