Pre-vaccine wedding plans

I planned and budgeted my wedding before the covid vaccine was approved. We wanted to keep guest list under 100 per CDC guidelines. The wedding is in September, it’s possible we can have more guests since more people will be vaccinated by then BUT because I planned and budgeted before a vaccine, we don’t have the money to invite more guests. I feel bad that I didn’t leave wiggle room in our budget. Will people be offended? Or will people be understand that covid is constantly changing?


Are other brides facing guest list issues with covid constantly changing? Are you sticking to your original guest list or are you inviting more people?

    Don't feel bad. People will understand that, even with the vaccine, lower numbers is still safer for now.

    I would not worry about it! You already have the most important people there, and that is what matters most. Just roll with what you've got! No need to break the bank when you already have a beautiful wedding with your loved ones planned.

    You’re allowed to have whatever size guest list you want even without a pandemic. There’s nothing to feel bad about.

    I agree with everyone else, don't feel bad - you had planned a wedding during VERY uncertain times so i am sure people understand that.
