I did... I think you get a better chance of actually getting them back that way... and it's easy they just have to drop it in the mail box... no excuses!!!

Of course! you need to make it super easy for guests to respond, or else they'll chuck the invitation in a drawer and forget about it. if all they have to do is check off their meal choice and mail it, you'll get your responses faster.

I would. It really does help make people actually think about returning them.

Most people do, and I thought it was assumed that they were supposed to be prestamped by the engaged couple? I already stamped the RSVP envelopes so I could just cross it off my list lol.

I would stamp them unless you are doing online rsvp. I would maybe stamp the return envelopes for people who don't have ready access to internet like maybe the grandparents or older guests?

I stamped mine AND put the return address (and my address) on the envelopes...that way I know exactly who's responding, even if they don't put their names.

I did all the stamping, if you don't stamp people are going to forget to put a stamp on them and mail them out and you'll never see the RSVP!

Unfortunately, yes. It's customary to have them already stamped for the guest. Sucks I know, but ya..you gotta do it.

    Ugh!

Yes, you should... but in my case, I bet a third never responded. Yeah, there should be no excuses to get them back... but there are some that its just impossible to pick up a pen scribble their names on it, stick it in envelope and walk it to mail box... its just impossible.

Yeah you should b/c if you don't a lot more people wont rsvp and you will have to make more phone calls. There might only be a few if you have the stamps on there, like we did.

Def stamp them, it is a courtesy to your guests. Also as others have said it should make them more likely to send them back. If you're worried about cost have you thought of postcard response cards (from this post and your wedding date I'm assuming you already have your invites together, but thought it wouldn't hurt to through this out there)? Postcards require less postage than envelopes.

Yeah, they need to be stamped. It sucks! My stamps alone cost like $200 because I messed up on the envelope size and had to do like $.70 per RSVP. Or you can just have them RSVP on your wedding website.

I did so that way you get them backSmiley smile I did not want them to have to go to the post office especially for a stamp for a postcard. I used vistaprint for my rsvp's which made it super easy they will even print your address on there so that is one less step for you!
