So myself (m, 22) and my partner (m, 23) were planning to get married at the end of July in Pigeon Forge. After a great deal of conversation, we both agreed to postpone our wedding plans until things calm down and the future is more certain. I know it's a long time away and things could get better, but I also know that, even though we're only inviting 20 people, we're getting married in a place with lots of traffic and had people attending who would be more vulnerable to the virus. It does worry me the amount of people not taking this situation seriously, especially when they're getting married so soon and have large groups (upwards of 75+). I just wish people would be more responsible and realize this is serious and that you can still get married without the big celebration.
For us, we're just going to pay for an ordained individual and are going to do something for just us so we can still marry and then schedule something in the distant future when everything calms down.
