Postponed wedding

Donielle, on March 17, 2020 at 1:53 AM Posted in Planning 0 4
Hey ladies!
So my fiancé and I made the tough decision to postpone our wedding from March 28th to May 16th. We’re a little nervous that that’s not far out enough. It fits the right week span but we don’t know.

It may not be. We were supposed to get married April 18, but are forced to postpone as well. Hoping if our new date is in August we won’t have to postpone again, but I’m not super optimistic.... Could depend on what state you’re in too...

I've seen an article headline that said that President Trump mentioned this whole fiasco lasting as far out as August but I'm not sure. I didn't even read the thing. I'm just over this entire pandemic and the sooner it's over the better. Our wedding is next year but since I recently got laid off until further notice, we had to cancel our big reception. We're still going to go with our intimate ceremony though so at least there's still something to look forward to.

Ummm that's not far out enough. My wedding is May 2nd, and we will have to postpone to the fall, August at the earliest. I can see any bans being in effect through the end of May.

At the White House press conference yesterday it sounded like things may not get back to normal until July or Aug. Not sure what that means exactly, but it has me concerned. I’m already contemplating rescheduling my fall wedding.
