So yesterday we made the painful and heartbreaking decision to postpone our wedding from May 15 to September 4. While this has been a very stressful time, I am glad that we have finally made a decision.
I want to say how grateful I am to our venue, Pen Ryn for their ongoing work to try and make our day as special as possible. I know there were a lot of brides that were having difficulty, but I have to remember that I (and everyone else) booked their dates one or more years out. That they were able to help us with a new venue that they have in September has been nothing more than spectacular.
this has been a rough year, but I am so blessed to have my best friend and FH by my side through all of this as well as my family and friends.
I am so thankful that we will be able to still celebrate and wish all brides during this time to remember their blessings.
Thank you to all the wonderful people on this forum that understand the sadness and hope we have experienced. As my mom said..this will be a story for the ages.
