Postponed wedding due to Covid-19 but still feel nervous about my date!

My fiancé and I postponed our May 2nd wedding to 08/29/20. But I’m still uneasy! We didn’t want to wait for 2021 bc we were SO close to reaching our wedding day and 8/29 was literally the only day all 7 of our vendors were available. I am still nervous tho! Most of our guests are from NY and have to fly to Miami for our wedding. Just trying to stay positive! Due to the timing of things is it even worth resending save the dates? I’m thinking of waiting for mid May to reorder our invites and mailing them out the end of Nay or early June. We already told our guests the new date via text/phone call. Are new save the dates necessary? We’re spending so much extra money to reprint our items and decor that had the old date (cocktail napkins, card box, favors, invites, etc). Our bands have our original date engraved so I guess we just have to deal with that. 😥

I don't think new save the dates are necessary! Just make sure all your guests know the new date (call them or message them).

I don't think new save the dates OR new invitations are needed. At all. As long as they know of the change, don't spend your $ on new stationary

Hi Chris,
I'm sorry you had to reschedule your wedding due to COVID-19. This is definitely a crazy stressful and uncertain time for everyone!
I don't think it is necessary to send new save the dates if you have already communicated it to your guests. Especially if you will be sending out a new wedding invitation! I am all about saving money where you can. Plus, you guests won't even notice they didn't get one
