Postponed Wedding and Weight Gain...

I was supposed to get married in May, but due to covid we moved the celebration to next May. Since my last fitting I've gained a lot of weight, which I do not plan on losing before the wedding. I love my dress, but I don't think it is going to fit anymore.

Has anyone else had to abandon their dream dress for a new one??

I almost did but I ended up losing the weight. I ate under 1500 calories daily and did chloe ting's 28 day flat tummy challenge on youtube.

You have another 8 months. Did you want to lose weight or are you happy with your weight now and prefer not to change it?

She went out of her way to say she does not plan to lose the weight, it's very rude to press the subject and encourage low calorie diets. This can be very harmful.

I reread her post. My mistake! I read too fast before and missed that. I was not pressing the issue.

    Sarah,
I apologize for misreading your post earlier.
Is it possible you can have your dream dress altered? If I'm not mistaken usually dresses can be altered two to three sizes up.
