Do you mind if I ask why you're recommending getting ready first? Everything I've seen from vendors recommends having the bride towards the end of the getting ready list

My only married friend gave me the same advice, be the first one to be ready makeup and hair. If not you’ll loose the opportunity to re-do what you didn’t like or start over. Also, you’ll look like bad while everyone looks beautiful and are taking pictures around you. You want to be ready first to be able to photograph with everyone. Usually they leave you to the end because they say your make up will be more fresh or your curls will not sag, basically they are saving themselves some effort, you should be able to touch up closer to the time of the wedding.

You won’t be doing anything that will make you sweat etc. And If your makeup and hair people are good you won’t need much to touch up before the ceremony. Trust me. Get ready first.

My HMU ladies said they will do me in the middle (there are a bunch of us getting ready). This way I don't have to go first but also not waiting until last so I won't be rushed and will be ready if the photographer shows up early.
